Analog Photography
Home

I am an analog art photographer, and I'm driven by a passion for self-expression through images.  My style pairs the experimental nature of film with the dreamlike images produced by "toy" cameras.  Common themes in my photographs include vibrant colors, surreal imagery, multiple exposures, and plays on perspective.

My work has been featured in many exhibits in the Saint Louis area. You can see my work in the Four Your Consideration Exhibit on the 4th and 5th floor galleries of the Syndicate Building (915 Olive, Downtown Saint Louis). You can also join me there Saturday Feb 4, from 6pm-9pm for the opening of Freshly Brewed

My photos have been and are currently displayed in lomowall exhibits in Santiago, Chile; Kiev, Ukraine; Lima, Peru; Lodz, Poland; and the New York Comic Con.

I'm an active member of the Lomographic Society, an internet community.  Lomography has been a key proponent of the retro "analog" movement, bringing film back into social consciousness. My photos have been featured on Lomography's website several times, including one of 2010's most popular.  One of my photos was choosen as a runner-up in the Tori Amos Inspiration Photo Contest.  My photo, The Race, won first place in the "So Beautiful Or So What" Rumble, an international contest sponsored by Lomography and Paul Simon!  A photo was choosen as one of the 36 winning shots in the International Ripcurl and Lomography “Live the Search Competition- Life is a Roadtrip." One of my photos from Berlin was published in the Lomography 2011 Berlin City Guide.
